The course.
Three loops through Alafia River State Park, roughly 30 miles southeast of Tampa, running past palm trees and giant ferns, through shaded pine forest, over equestrian tracks and across stretches of Florida sand. Teams camp at the village between legs, with bonfires overnight. Ultra options run to fixed durations rather than a set distance.
