The course.
The 5K and 10K start together on West Santa Clara Street at North First Street, with runners lined up in wave corrals printed on their bibs. The organizer describes a flat, fast course through downtown San Jose but gives the route only as a 2026 course map on the official site. There is one water station on the 5K course and three on the 10K. Roads on the 10K course reopen to traffic at 11:00 AM, which the organizer says leaves about two hours to finish. Strollers (jogging strollers included) and pets other than certified service animals are not allowed on the course. The Kids Fun Run for ages 2 to 7 is a short out-and-back of 100, 200 or 300 yards depending on age, held in the Kids Fun Zone.
